An NIFT graduate, Tanya’s label ‘Gaga’ emerged to the forefront in 2009 with her capsule collection for Attic. “There are a multitude of untapped Indian fabrics. The idea is to look beyond the obvious and use them to create newer styles,” she said. Tanya comes from army background. As a child, she found herself moving base every two years or so. And that is precisely what helped shape her design sensibilities.
She made her ramp debut in Spring/Summer 2012 as a Gen-Next designer. Her world has been a surreal mismatch of vivid colours and bold prints ever since.
