Denmark: The Danish Crown Jewels consist of three crowns, a scepter, an orb, a sword of state, and an ampulla, or flask. The sword is the oldest item in the collection, dating to 1551. The Danish use the terms "old regalia" and "new regalia" to differentiate between the jewels that were in place before the creation of the absolute monarch in 1660.
