High Life With: Vladimir Putin

Real Estate: Reports claim that Putin has about 20 opulent palaces and properties around Russia. Of them is apparently a $1 billion (approx Rs 4,000 crore) Italianate palace. It's features include a casino, amphitheatre, several helipads, and an underground tunnel to the sea. Supposedly modelled on the Palace of Versailles in France, it is spread across 8 million sqft with a golden imperial eagle, marble surfaces, hand-painted murals; it is located on the Black Sea coast in Russia.

Homes he could retreat to range from seaside palaces to a ski lodge, and boast everything from saunas and billiard rooms to even a presidential church.He also has had nine state-owned mansions constructed under his orders.
