Crown Jewels at Queen Beatrix’s Abdication Dinner
A momentous day for the Dutch royals when Queen Beatrix stepped down after serving 33 years as head of state in the Netherlands. The royal dinner marking her abdication and the successive rule of Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and his wife Maxima, urged royalty to fly down to Amsterdam from all around the world.
