London: It's a cliché, but all eyes will be on London this summer because of the 2012 Olympic Games in July. Before that, there is Wimbledon; later in December comes the opening of the Charles Dickens Museum (he would have been 200 this year); and in-between families will have to make the time to go on the Making of Harry Potter Tour, which launched earlier this year.
Insider Tip: As a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World group, the 100-year-old The Goring Hotel is offering special rates (Rs. 17,400 per room per night) as part of an Olympics package. FYI, this archtypical English hotel, located near Buckingham Palace, was the very place Kate Middleton spent her last night as a single woman.
