A Look at BMW's Most Sensational Art Cars
1979: BMW M1 painted by Andy Warhol. This M1 is possible the most recognize able and famous of all the Art Cars. Pop artist Andy Warhol splashed paint on the car to make it look like it was moving quickly while standing still. It also had one of the best outings for an Art Car at Le Mans: 6th place overall.
