We’re no longer surprised by gold-plated iPhones, bath accessories and cars even. But looking back at 2012, we discovered a whole host of unnecessarily luxurious products that underwent the gold treatment. Some we like, some are ho hum and the rest just made us go... ‘whaaaaa?’
