A design sketch that caught Rolf Schnyder’s fascination when he came across it in Ulysse Nardin’s archives in 1983, made him set out on a quest to acquire the product of that design. After several years, in 1996, this watch, created by sculptor CH Jacot, was being auctioned at Antiquorum, and Schnyder decided that there was no price too high. Today, this timepiece, sculpted out of silver and pink gold sits proudly in Ulysse Nardin’s timepiece museum, and is showcased at every major exhibition that the brand participates in.
