Most Expensive Watches Sold at Auction
The antique watch market is enjoying a bit of surge, if auction prices are looked at. In 2011, sales of antique watches netted auction houses $257.2 million. By May this year, auctions, chiefly of Breguet and Patek Philippe, have hauled in $48 million. And since vintage watches are flavour of the season, here's a round-up of the most expensive watches ever sold at auction
