A Striking Melody: Minute Repeater Watches
Girard- Perregaux: 1966 Minute repeater.
The minute repeater complication of this timepiece boasts of an intense sound when the two circular gongs coiled inside the case and small hammers are activated to strike pure notes at regular intervals. Set in a 42-mm pink gold case, the watch features a pristine white enamel dial, with a small seconds' indication at six o'clock. The manual winding movement offers a power reserve of about 100 hours.
