Our hot pick last October was Burberry’s iconic trench coat inspired timepiece—The Britain. And while the watch hooked loyalists, there’s already a new and improved version lined-up for next month.

The British luxury brand has chosen the prestigious watch and jewellery event, BaselWorld in Switzerland, to debut the upgraded Burberry Britain.

Own a Burberry Creation Straight of the Autumn-Winter 2013 Runway

Having booked a two-storey exhibiting area, the brand is trying to architecturally innovate a space that will provide a signature Burberry experience.

From a façade fashioned out of transparent panels splashed with the Burberry print, to digital screens that will play Burberry Britain’s ‘Into the Fire’ video, visitors will be treated to an audio-visual experience that will relay the craftsmanship and processes that lead to the construction of this luxury timepiece.

And while The Britain will be the star of the Burberry show at BaselWorld, the brand will also exhibit a range of some popular and also new men’s and women’s watches.
