Zoya Celebrates Egypt

Zoya, a contemporary diamond jewellery boutique from the house of Tanishq, has gradually carved a niche for itself in the market. Its uniqueness lies in the variety of its thematic collections—namely the Rajasthani, Grecian and Japanese collections—that have proven a consistency that exudes originality and creative designs. Its latest offering comes from the relics of ancient Egypt.

Capturing the essence and mystique of Egypt, the collection is inspired by a bygone era of Gods, Pharaohs, demigods and tombs, together with the Pyramids of Giza, the eye of Horus and River Nile. This limited edition line consists of 86 distinct jewellery pieces, some of which don the shape of the sacred scarab beetle and cobra (guardian of the Pharaoh), hieroglyphic symbols and scripts, lotus motifs, the mask of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, the falcon god Horus and ornate wall paintings. Aside from exquisite rose-cut and polki diamonds, the collection also features precious stones like lapis lazuli, ruby, black rhodium, black and blue enamel, turquoise, coral, black onyx, carnelian stones, kundan and opal. Even the display sets at the store are enrobed in thick off-white ribbons wrapped around the jewellery depicting a mummy.
