Penelope Cruz Features in the Campari 2013 Calendar

Jessica Alba, Selma Hayek, Eva Mendes and Milla Jovovich are some of the gorgeous women who have all have adorned the pages of previous Campari Calendars. For tthe 2013 one, Oscar winning actress Penelope Cruz embarks on a visual voyage for the brand as she features in the "Kiss Superstition Goodbye" calendar.

Shot by noted fashion photographer, Kristian Schuller, known for his love for surreal imagery, Cruz poses in 13 exciting shots that has her engaging in mystical superstitions, such as with black cats, broken mirrors, walking under ladders as well as walking on cracks - all in keeping with the theme for the year. Attempting to highlight the power of confidence and the ability to kiss superstitions goodbye, the calendar also celebrates the magic of the number 13.

Wearing a range of eye-catching red dresses and shoes from designers such as Monique Lhuillier and Salvatore Ferragamo, as well as jewellery by Chopard, Cruz says she enjoyed the challenge of portraying the unexplainable and getting to the heart of each superstition to dispel myths. Judging from the positive reactions so far, it's unlikely that Cruz's latest venture will require her to get hold of four-leaf clovers or horseshoes to ensure that she's lucky for the brand.
