Princess Grace Kelly has been the source of inspiration for a recent collection unveiled by Mont Blanc. ‘Collection Princesse Grace de Monaco’ has been crafted in the honour of the late Princess who is fondly remembered by Monaco and the rest of the world. The collection beautifully interprets the élan and sophistication of the princess through exquisite pieces of jewellery, skilfully manufactured writing instruments to watches that leave timeless memories.
Every piece from the collection reflects an unmistakable sense of class which can be noticed in the careful selection of diamonds and other precious stones which have been cut in the form of petals. The petal-cut stones are the signature of this collection of this collection honouring the Grace de Monaco pink rose, a flower named after Grace Kelly when she got married to The Prince of Monaco back in 1956.
What better than to hear from the designer herself. The designer at the Mont Blanc Design Studio Paris, Dalia Greppi expressed her delight in choosing the Grace de Monaco pink rose as their element of
motivation. She said it was a natural choice since the flower stood for uniqueness, elegance and fragility. The maiden image inspiring the creation was that of a cascade of petals floating in the air. Grace
Kelly’s opulence has indeed been celebrated through the structured formations created with diamonds and sapphires, the finest available, to represent sheer grace and poise.
