Drew Barrymore Launches Her Own Pinot Grigio Wine

Hollywood actress, producer and director Drew Barrymore teamed with Wilson Daniels wineries to launch her own wine titled Barrymore.The Wilson Daniels website describes the wine as an IGT Delle Venezie, made from grapes grown the Triveneto area,
comprised of three of Italy’s most northern regions: Friuli Venezia Giulia, Trentino Alto Adige and Veneto – regions renowned for producing crisp and fruity white wines. Barrymore Pinot Grigio is a lively white wine that is easy to pair with a wide array of foods – from classic Italian and French dishes to contemporary Asian and Mediterranean fare – this white wine is perfect with cuisines from around the globe.
Barrymore Pinot Grigio was inspired by Drew’s travels through Italy and was created to honor her family. As such, the Barrymore label showcases her family crest and was designed by Shepard Fairey, the iconic American graphic designer, and his Studio One team. “Wine is all about the journey, the discovery of new places and new varieties,” Ms. Barrymore explains, “I’m excited about sharing this Pinot Grigio with my friends and family and other wine lovers.”

Other celebrity vintners include Lionel Messi, Antonio Banderas, Dan Aykroyd and Francis Ford Coppola.
