Purse and Clutch
*A purse or pouch is a handled medium-tolarge bag, fashionably designed, and typically used by women to hold personal items.
*A clutch is a strapless purse carried in the hand.
The purse can be that transformation piece if there’s a party you need to rush to after work. A classic, black purse with gold accents is ideal for evening-wear. A quilted bag in leather or suede is a good option.

Messenger bags
*Also called a courier bag, this bag is usually carried over the shoulder with the strap winding around the chest, resting the bag on the lower back.
Messenger bags are ideal when you’re on the go. Classic colours like black, tan or beige complement any kind of western ensemble.
Totes
*A tote is typically a large and usually unfastened bag, having parallel handles emerging from the sides.
If you have to carry a laptop or a tablet, this handbag is most convenient. Also, the shape of the bag makes it a classic. Your tote can be carried with any outfit—from a sari to a kneelength skirt/trouser and top. Stick to tan or brown closed-toe shoes if you want a strictly formal look.
