Abhishek Bachchan to Receive His Shoes for a Star from Ferragamo

If you're a regular reader, you might remember that the scion of the Bachchan legacy was being gifted a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo Tramezza shoes earlier this year. Abhishek Bachchan was flown down to Italy, and hosted at the Florentine headquarters of the Italian shoemaker. As part of Ferragamo's 'Shoes for a Star' project, Bachchan interacted with the expert craftsmen responsible for creating all of Ferragamo's made-to-order Tramezzas.

The Tramezza shoe is a prized possession from the Italian shoemaker, famous for having serviced the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Greta Garbo and Andy Warhol. The bespoke process includes picking from nine different styles, and a range of colours and materials. Customers are put through thorough fitting sessions with the brand's experts, after which their unique shoes are created-usually with their initials punched into the leather. 

After much work (so it seems), the star will finally receive his custom-made shoes tomorrow, in an event organised by the Italian shoe brand. In case you haven't received your invite, stay tuned for a closer look at what may just be Abhishek's favourite pair of shoes.
