Marilyn Monroe's Intimate Relationship with Chanel No 5
Just like Dior, Chanel has been releasing multi-part genesis videos that explore the origins of the brand (Marion Cotillard takes us down memory lane at Dior) or a product (Chanel released Chapter 1 of its Inside Chanel story, staring the No 5 perfume).
Now, Chanel's out with Part 2, starring Marilyn Monroe, and No 5 of course. Publicizing the fact that the Hollywood star wore just Chanel No 5 to bed, the new video features rare images of Monroe lying in bed, with a bottle of the famous perfume for company.
Our verdict: Monroe is much better at convincing us of No 5's desirability than Brad Pitt has done.
