Lady Dior Metamorphosis in Episode 3

Having taken us through the ateliers and the workshops to explain all that goes into making the perfect dress, Lady Dior takes a glamorous turn in Episode 3. From background to flashlights, the third installment of the web doc is a series of visuals that has Marion Cotillard posing in iconic Dior fashion staples that have stood the test of time.

From the bar suit and iconic gowns, to when the designer first dictated the shorter hemline, ‘The Metamorphosis’ is a front row view of the build up that led to the creation of the Dior bombshell.

Gorgeous as ever, the French actress poses in some of the finest original silhouettes created by Christian Dior himself. And as she looks back at you, through her black veil with her red lips and all, you realise that fashion at Dior is truly eternal.

The secret to this probably lies in the words of Christian Dior himself, “When, like me, one reaches the age of 50, one feels the onset of middle-age… I am referring here to one’s outward form… I begin my collection with the same enthusiasm I would have had, if it were the first”.
