Be Red Carpet Ready with Marchesa’s Oscars 2013 Parfum D'Extase

Undeniably, today is the day when nothing but the Oscars 2013 will make headlines. Every celebrity is in the news for their designer apparel, their million dollar jewellery, and even the labels of the bags and shoes they’re sporting.

Cashing in on the brouhaha are designers at Marchesa, who have revealed a limited edition fragrance in honour of the Oscars—the Parfum D'Extase.

What we have here is 150 bottles of an Awards Season Couture Edition created by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, using the handiwork of their in-house crystal bag collection couturiers.

A fragrance relying on the scents and feminine sensibilities of jasmine, iris, freesia and the likes, has been packaged in a stunning bottle that is reminiscent of a large crystal.

Encased in a reflective jewellery box, a fancy tassel has been thrown in as an afterthought to amp up the glamour quotient of this perfume.

Being sold exclusively at Sephora, the Parfum D'Extase is available only until stocks last, and will cost you $98.
