Would You Buy This Gilded New iPad?

Within weeks of the launch of Apple's new iPad Retina, we found that a British company - Gold & Co London, plated the gadget with 24 carat gold. The 64 GB iPad was shown to VIPs in the UAE last month.
 
This new customised iPad is all set to go on display at Damas Jewellery at the Dubai Mall next week. It will retail for Dh20,198 (approx Rs 2.8 lakh). Apparently a substantial number of units have already been ordered by UAE residents. About 250 units of this gilded gadget will be produced, and proceeds will go to charity.
