Louis Vuitton Collaborates with U2's Bono

You’ve probably seen the Louis Vuitton advertisement featuring the rock band U2’s vocalist Bono (aka Paul Hewson) and his wife Ali Hewson that’s shot in Africa.

Apart from the Louis Vuitton monogrammed bag featured in the advertisement, the couple, were wearing  outfits from their own clothing line, Edun. The bag Ali is carrying is a result of a project by Edun and Louis Vuitton.

The bag, better known as the Keepall 45 luggage bag is made of a dark chocolate leather case and has an inscription inside it that reads as ‘Every journey began in Africa.’ It’s also has a Kenyan Monogram hand-crafted charm on the bag.

The bag was featured on the ramp during Paris Fashion Week this year and Louis Vuitton showcased an exhibition of contemporary African art that featured Edun's spring collection called ‘Africa Rising’ for 12 days after fashion week.
