Vivienne Westwood Designs Luxury Whisky Bottle

British designer Vivienne Westwood is the latest couturier to collaborate with luxury whisky brand Chivas Regal. So, collectors will discover that Westwood has clothed an 18-year-old Chivas bottle in the British Union Jack print.

Westwood, who is famous for her pattern cutting know-how and is responsible for bringing modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream, has used her expertise in imagining the bottle as a figure to be adorned, and has created a unique three-piece ‘coat’ for the Chivas bottle in her signature style.

Chivas Regal already has a history of working with leading fashion designers such as Alexander McQueen and Christian Lacroix, who have also designed limited edition bottles for the whisky brand.

The Chivas Regal 18-year-old by Vivienne Westwood is scheduled for release as a limited edition bottle with only 2,500 bottles available internationally. Priced at $495 (approx Rs 22,000), they will be available from duty free stores.
