Suite Gesture: Ratan Tata Gives Neighbours Five-Star Treats

When you have a neighbour like Ratan Tata, you can expect your life to take a few unexpected turns. We learnt that when the charismatic business leader settled down to his elegant home in Colaba, it was not without inadvertently ruffling a few feathers.

The moving in process was long and perhaps a tad too noisy, making for a bunch of rather unhappy neighbours. The conscientious Mr Tata, we are told, organised for a quick five-star retreat for some of his affected neighbours. Till the time the army of movers and packers had finished their job, the neighbours were ensconced in five-star suites. They were happy to come back to a quiet neighbourhood and a thorough gentleman of a neighbour.
