Shangri-La’s First London Hotel by Mid-2013

Shangri-La has been set up from the 34th through the 52nd floor at The Shard, London.
Though the project completion has been under speculation for a while now, it’s safe to say that the Shangri-La property in London will be fully functional, come August 2013.
Already enjoying a coveted status with The Shard London as its host, Shangri-La has been set up from the 34th through the 52nd floor of architect Renzo Piano’s iconic tower.
Now while The Shard is already famous for its iconic spire and 1,016 ft height, the property hopes to incur an elevated prestige value once the hotel is up and running.
With ample grandeur and opulence, Shangri-La London boasts of 17 luxury suites and 185 guestrooms (averaging more than 42 sqm)—all in all to total a deluxe accommodation mark up of 202 keys.
From multi-cuisine restaurants, an all day dining café, and a magnificent destination bar overlooking the Thames and the city, the hotel has made every attempt to provide a 360o experience to in-house and visiting guests.
Final touches include recreational and health and wellness facilities, and dedicated premium meeting spaces to seat up to 120 guests.
