An auction next month will feature a handmade Faberge egg which will be created out of chocolate! The egg is being made by the famous chocolatier from Britain William Curley. It will contend to become the world’s most expensive non-jewelled egg. Costly ingredients like Japanese Wasabi chocolate and Tuscan Amedei dark chocolate are being used to make this epicurean wonder. This egg auction will be a part of The Faberge Big Egg Hunt which is a grand event that utilises its proceeds for charity work. While the auctioneers are trying to break the currently held Guinness World Record set at £1,000 for a non-jewelled chocolate egg, the Egg Hunt event aims to break the record for having the most number of people participate in an Easter egg hunt. That’s a competition in itself.
