Aqua Nueva’s cava bar in London
Next month elite Londoners will have a new experience to indulge in– an education in Cava, at Aqua Nueva’s Cava Bar.
The Aqua Nueva restaurant will serve 15 different cavas by the glass and bottle at its specialized bar which is slated to open on March 4. A Spanish rooftop restaurant on Regent Street, Aqua Nueva’s latest venture will be the largest cava bar in the city.
It is only fitting that flues of the Spanish sparkling wine style should be paired with top-notch tapas. To add to the experience, Head Chef Alberto Hernandez will be working a daily tapas menu. From what we hear, the affair will include delights such as seafood tartar served with ajo blanco and grilled cuttlefish with ink sauce and alioli. Tempted to make a trip to London? We are!

Bubbly on the cake? The Cava Bar will also serve flights of Castillo Perelada, offering a trio of flutes: Castillo Perelada Brut Reserva, Brut Rosado and Gran Claustro 2008, coincidentally the winner of ‘Best Cava in the British Market’ (Wines from Spain Awards 2011).
