Party People: Raja and Queenie Dhodhy's Not-So-Secret Saga

At the time of their divorce, they had taken off on an exotic sea-side vacation, and had even hosted a party to announce their decision. Barely two years and a failed relationship (read Farhad Taraporevala) past, they have reportedly taken off again, this time to work on a possible reconciliation.

Society's most talked-about couple Raja Dhody and his former wife Queenie, have fuelled intense speculation with their synchronised travel plans. Some say, they have been meeting in Delhi, away from the prying SoBo eyes. And now, as they inch towards a possible resolution, both of them are reportedly in the US, working on the finer points of the rapprochement.

This diarist has also learnt that while Raja had been in two minds about welcoming Queenie back into his life again, what may have weakened his resolve is his 17-year-old daughter Tiara. It is learnt that Tiara has been insisting that her parents set aside their differences and live together as family again. It may be recalled that it was at Tiara's debut art exhibition last year that Raja and Queenie had hosted a party as a couple. Will the twice-divorced Raja give in to the father of a daughter? That could well change the story.
