A summer home sprawling across 1,200 acres has now also become the premises of what could possibly be Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s next profitable venture.
The power couple is making the most of their 50-60 acres of vines, and have collaborated with the Perrin family—sommeliers and experts in French winemaking.
This little venture is responsible for the first batch of Miraval Cotes de Provence, a rose wine packaged in what frankly looks more like a champagne bottle, and brand stamped Jolie-Pitt and Perrin at $138 a case (six bottles), or approximately Rs 7,490.
‘Tis no surprise that their trial online sale lasted just about five hours before 6,000 bottles of the Miraval rose were all sold out.
But fret not, this 2012 celebrity vintage has been released into the market by the 100,000s and will be available at various restaurants and retail wine stores shortly.
