Gold-plated Dosa for Rs 1,011
Now you can have your 24 carat dosa and eat it too. Don’t be confused. A restaurant in Bangalore has whipped up a gold-plated dosa. Priced at Rs 1,011, the South Indian staple is a hit.
The dosa was created as the owner Chandan Lokesh wanted to do something different in the restaurant business. He says he took inspiration from the west using gold foils in pizzas and ice creams. The crispy dish is made of olive oil and has a filling of mashed potatoes.
The dish is also ISO certified, which means it guarantees no health hazards. The restaurants also serves a dosa with silver foil priced at Rs 151.
