But if this light show by Kohler isn't exactly your thing, there are enough cutting-edge bathroom devices that we found - some indulgent while others are just plain quirky.

Dornbracht, a Swiss-based company has created a 'horizontal shower' - compete with a slab and nozzles over it. How does it work? Simply lie down and let the water do the work. Claiming to use different flows and temperatures to create massaging experiences - enjoy this shower on your back or stomach,when it will probably pelt your face. Though we're still not so sure about this one.

Like nature and woody forests? Bring that experience into your bathroom with Alegna's wooden bath tubs. We stumbled on to  these wooden beauties and think its a welcome change from boring old ceramic. Fab, no?

Italian-based SICIS Art Mosaic Factory has created a collection of shoe shaped bath tubs in floral and feminine colors. While high heeled shoes start paining after a few hours of wear, lets hope its bathtub counterpart cure those pains.
