The 2011 Oscars awards, aka the 83rd Academy Awards, are on today.  And while the world's eyes are going to be on the winners, we're more interested in the losers. Why, you ask? It's because the nominees who didn't get to walk away with an Oscar award, will still be walking away with some seriously luxurious gifts.

These swag bags, which in the past have been worth up to $100,000 (approx Rs 45 lakh), includes everything from free beauty treatments to makeup, exclusive gym memberships even luxury holidays - and once, even a rare miniature pet pig.

This year, those who don't go home with the Oscar will get a $16,000 (approx Rs 7.2 lakh) luxury vacation in Africa/the Indian Ocean from Premier Tours. Indulgences on this vacation will include things like underwater spa treatments. Last year, losing nominees were given a four-night stay at the luxury Lion Sands Game Reserves in South Africa from the speciality travel company.

According to Lash Fary, who's Distinctive Assets gifting company is putting together this year's unofficial consolation swag bag, another gift is a fitness boot camp voucher that will help celebs shape up for future movie rolls. Actresses like Jessica Biel (Justin Timberlake's girlfriend) have benefited from the service.

Last year, nominees who didn't win an Academy Award (George Clooney, Colin Firth, Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep to name a few), were gifted vouchers to buy the aforementioned teacup pigs - the world's smallest, house-friendly hogs - a $8,000 (approx Rs 3.6 lakh) voucher to have 'surgery to clear red eye' and products from Tiffany's for pet cats and dogs.

This year's swag bag is estimated to be worth $75,000 (approx Rs 33 lakh).
