Basing their blends on exploratory travels around the world, the John Walker & Sons has given whiskey enthusiasts the iconic Johnnie Walker Striding Man, Travellers' Rooms at shipping docks and airports, and also the Johnnie Walker Master Blenders.

An extension to their rich travelling heritage is the brand’s latest addition, the Johnnie Walker Explorers' Club Collection. Host to three fine blends, the Trade Route Series has witnessed its first release with Johnnie Walker —The Spice Road edition.

What you’re being promised is a vibrant, bold flavoured whiskey that finds its roots in the aromatic spices found in and around Asia. The abundant spice kick has been effectively tamed by maturing the whiskey in old oak casks. Rich in flavour, yet smooth in finish, the Spice Road Edition is much like all the other blends by the whiskey maker.

This one’s dedicated to all you jet-setting folks and will be strategically sold only at duty free stores, starting January 2013.
