Abhay Deol's Champagne Date with Scarlett Johansson

We know why Abhay Deol is looking forward to Moet & Chandon's Diner Du Siècle (Dinner of the Century) in Shanghai tonight. He gets to have dinner with GQ magazine's 2010 Babe of the Year, Scarlett Johansson.

Deol, the only star from Bollywood, and Moet muse Scarlett will attend a sit-down dinner and after-party at the Peninsula Shanghai, tonight to celebrate Moet's century-long relationship with Asia.

Moet apparently arrived in China in 1843, exactly 100 years after it was founded. And to keep the '100 year' theme going, Moet plans to uncork a rare 100-year old wine, the Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 1911.

There's been a lot of love from both sides - Moët Hennessy India MD Gaurav Bhatia said in a release that the "Diner Du Siècle promises to present the perfect mélange of east meets west - Scarlett Johansson and Abhay Deol will come together to celebrate the magic of Moët & Chandon and the charisma of celluloid." And Deol spoke of being invited to the champagne dinner as "humbling and exciting all at the same time."

Moët will also auction off a coffret of the prestigious Grand Vintage 1911 bottles, with the proceeds going to the Nature Conservancy, a local environmental initiative.
