Isaac Mizrahi Brings Luxe Jewellery Back on the Table

Not that we had much grouse against the affordable beauty and clothing lines Isaac Mizrahi worked up for Nordstom and Bloomigdale’s, but there’s an undeniable craving for some truly expensive gems and jewellery that the designer does so well.

Finally, Mizrahi is all set to launch an uber luxurious line that will boast of fine jewellery ranging from rings and cuffs, to earrings and neckpieces.

While diamonds will dominate this premium line, a whole host of rare and exotic coloured gemstones like green and black onyx, pink opal, blue agate, blue topaz and citrine, will be used to add Mizrahi’s signature touch to this offering.

For a solid finish, the coloured stones will be set in platinum, and the lower (yet premium) range will employ 18kt gold-plated sterling silver as a base.

The collection will be released intermittently in tandem with the seasons, and will be sold exclusively via Clover Corp.

Make note that the designer urges you to collect, stack and layer the pieces, which have been consciously designed to work in sync.

Who knew a jewellery line could also be positioned as a collector’s edition, eh?
