If you thought booking an entire floor of a hotel, or even a vast chateau, was the epitome of a luxurious holiday, what would you regard renting a village? Yes, we mean a whole village in Europe. An enterprise by Rent-A-Village, all the world’s wealthy now have another holiday goal to accomplish.
For about $60,000 a night you can have an entire village at your disposal for long as you want. There are several villages from Alpbach in Austria to Engelberg in Switzerland or some in Germany that you can call yours for a few days.
For that pretty hefty sum, you can get local performers for entertainment and take control of everything involved, from catering and technical infrastructure to indoor and outdoor activities.
Almost like a virtual life game, you can play around with the settings: change the names of streets and squares and even have your own currency.
