Limited Edition Z-Boat: For the Superhero in You

The conclusion of the Batman trilogy, has everyone locked in the superhero mode. While the cast and the storyline makes the movie what it is, one of the most alluring features of the trilogy would be the gadgets. One of a kind, these gadgets are the object of desire, for men and women alike. Zaha Hadid's Z-Boat, is your shot at owning something like that.

Limited to only 12 pieces, the eight metre frame of this futuristic motorboat is made from carbon fibre and fibreglass, while the interiors are crafted from avant-garde vinyl materials. Deriving its power from a 1x220 HP Mercruiser engine, the asymmetrically designed boat can seat eight people and has a full hull design, with all accessories embedded.

The French firm Shoreteam, which has been assigned the construction of the Z-Boat explained that the idea behind the creation of the boat is to think of vessels or vehicles as highly individualistic expressions of art, architecture and design; reflecting the edge of what is possible using the most advanced means including materials, software systems and methods of fabrication.

Priced at US$457,000, the Z-Boat will be available in Spring 2013 in a range of colours including white, slate grey and blue, and of course, black.
