Le Cirque Awarded Best Hotel Restaurant in India

One of Delhi’s luxurious restaurants, Le Cirque at The Leela Palace has just won the title of Best Hotel Restaurant India for the year 2011 from Travel + Leisure India and South Asia.
 
Famed for its opulent decor and high-end dining experience, Le Cirque has been racking up positive reviews from Delhi gourmands since its opening in September last year. It is the Indian outpost of that venerable New York restaurant, which serves up an exquisite culinary experience of Italian and French cuisine.
 
Designed by Design Studio Spin, Le Cirque at the Leela has a bar lounge, alfresco seating and three spacious dining rooms.
 
While it’s already doing really well in New York, Le Cirque is making sure they keep the benchmark high here too. So it has made few modifications to its uber-traditional menu to incorporate local ingredients like morel mushrooms from Kashmir. But that's hardly the reason, the Delhi edition of Le Cirque is even more expensive than the original.
