Finally a shopping website hosting Indian designers, by an Indian! Fashion stylist Pernia Qureshi’s latest venture features the crème de la crème of Indian designers like Masaba Gupta, Anamika Khanna, Gaurav Gupta, Atsu and Shiven & Naresh.
What we like: Finally an Indian fashion website that’s going global. The website has an international understated feel to it and is very easy to navigate.
What we don’t: We want more designers! The collection is limited and needs to be developed. Although this website is relatively new, we hope international brands are included soon.

Maison.com is the online version of the newly launch boutique of the same name in Bengalore. We love the basic gray layout of the website since it helps the merchandize on the site standout more. For an Indian website, they have a good selection of international brands to pick from like Preen, Givenchy, Chloe and YSL.
What we like: The terms and conditions as well as nitty gritties of placing orders has been explained very well leaving no room for doubt. They stock everything from dresses to jewelry and each page is innovatively created – very easy to navigate. We also like the variety in the gifting section-they even stock books about fashion at great rates.
What we don’t: Being a relatively new website we hope their collections and designers list will expand. Their shipping is chargeable and it is as per the weight of the consignment, we were hoping since its based in India itself they would go easy on the delivery charges. Also, we were curious about the virtual gift card option that they had, but to our dismay it wasn’t functioning yet.

Started by Germany-based husband and wife duo Oliver and Reema von Quadt, the website claims to sell luxury brands exclusively in India and also to have the best rates for high-end designer wear with sales every other week. Fashionistas can rejoice as they host classic brands like Armani, Calvin Klein, Armani and Ralph Lauren.
What we like: The website is fuss-free and clean with details of all their policies on every page. We love that they deliver only through FedEx; your order will arrive within a week. Qvendo also has a return policy for size issues and damaged goods.
What we don’t: The choice is pretty limited. Also, free shipping applies only to selected merchandize and there is a flat shipping rate no matter what you buy.

We did eventually stumble upon an international website that is India friendly – all its brands have their prices stated in INR. This US-based website offers edgy and famous American brands like Diesel, Michael Kors, True Religion, Marc Jacobs and Rebecca Minkoff.
What we like: The collections on Revolve are super stylish and comparatively pocket friendly. Navigation is a breeze and if you’re looking for something in specific, the site has easy ways to narrow down your choices. Shipping is free above $100 and below that has a flat minimal shipping rate. A great site to explore and check for clothes, bags and shoes trend-wise for men and women.
What we don’t: As much as we love the collections on the site, we would love to see some more from stalwarts like Marc Jacobs and additions like Isaac Mizraahi and Alexander Wang to the list. Otherwise, we don’t have much to complain about!

Christian Louboutin,Valentino, Lanvin and Jimmy Choo are just a few names on the extensive list of designer wear that net-a-porter hosts. This is the mecca of all things fashionable and thankfully deliver their wares to India.
What we like: The drool-worthy brands! Net-a porter, undoubtedly, has the best collection of designerwear – clothes, bags, shoes, accessories and lingerie – your one stop shop where you’ll be spoilt for choice. They even have gift vouchers.
What we don’t: The currency conversion tab on the site shows errors at times, so be prepared to convert rates to INR. Their return policies are a little rigid and free shipping a rarity.
