India's Top Places to Party: LAP

We want you to tell us where you love to party. So, we've come up with a list of eight exclusive nightclubs, lounges and bars across India, which we'll profile every week. All you have to do is vote for your favourite.

We've all seen pictures of Arjun Rampal's Bollywood pals sashaying down the red carpet for the opening of his exclusive Delhi nightclub, LAP. Last month, the country's beautiful people got together at LAP for an after party after India hosted its first F1 race.

What's little known is the fact that the idea for the lavish nightclub was conceived when Rampal and ran into restaurateur AD Singh at India's party capital, Goa. The result is an opulent nightclub at the Samarat Hotel in Delhi.

What's Hot:  The nightclub has been designed with an eye for luxury. The décor is art deco, and the oversize sofas and golden chairs seating is designed for louche lounging. Rampal and his celebrity friends Gauri Khan, Tarun Tahilliani and Rohit Bal have helped with the design. And there's a generous sprinkling of Swarovski crystal (plus one specially-commissioned chandelier).
The music, rumoured to be vetted by Rampal, is a mix of Funky House and Electro.
