Ferrari 250 GTO Is Second Most Expensive Car

The demand for a vintage Ferrari has gone through the roof and the Ferrari 250 GTO is now the world's most sought-after car. With just 39 units built between 1962 and 1964, the red racer has been apparently sold by collector Jon Hunt, who bought it in 2008 for a then world record £15.7million.
But Mr Hunt just got a £20.2million for the 1963 Ferrari. The car numbered 5095, fitted with a 3-litre, has a V12 engine that develops 300bhp - meaning a 0-60mph time of 6.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 174mph. Back in the 60’s, this beauty cost £6,000 new.
Only after a 1936 Bugatti that sold for about £26million in 2010, the 250 GTO is now the world's second most expensive vintage car.
