We already told you Saffronart was planning a Gentleman's Sale for men looking to buy rare collectibles.
We can tell you that they've put together an impressive list of stuff that's up for auction, including a classic 1961 Pontiac Oomersi Mawji silver objects and a rare Rolex 'Padellone' Self-Winding Triple Calendar Moonphase Wristwatch.
Described as a 'classic piece of 1960s Americana', this 1961 Pontiac Laurentian is a rare right-hand drive model. It comes with a 3.1 litre, straight 6 cylinder engine, 3-speed manual transmission and with all mechanical parts in working order, an odometer reading of a little over 50,000 miles and five brand new Whitewall tyres. The car, estimated to sell at between Rs 10,00,000 to Rs 15,00,000 can be viewed at Saffronart's Delhi gallery at the Oberoi (details below).
What also caught our eye was the 'Golf Player' sterling silver flask; a limited edition set of three Montblac Marcel Proust pens and colonial silverware by Bhuj's master silversmith Oomersi Mawji.
