Madonna Sells Plush New York Apartment for over $23 mn

Madonna has put her swanky Central Park West co-op up for sale at a whopping price tag of $23.5 million. The duplex, near West 64th Street, is on the fifth and sixth floors of the Harperley Hall building.

It’s spread over more than 6,000 square feet of space and features huge windows (110 feet high) with views of the Park, the New York Post reported.

The exclusive pad comes with two great rooms that have Juliet balconies, five large wood burning fireplaces, four separate bedroom wings, eight baths, and a chef's eat-in-kitchen, according to the co-listing by Arabella Buckworth of Brown Harris Stevens and Adam Modlin of The Modlin Group.

The apartment has also been the subject of some controversy. The pop icon settled a lawsuit with her upstairs neighbour in 2011 over accusations that Madonna’s loud music and dancing were a nuisance to the neighbours.

Madonna moved out of the building last year to move in to an East Side townhouse.
