Hobbit Mania: Royal Selangor Unveils Frodo, Gandalf Tablewear

Fans of JRR Tolkien's epic fiction series have something fun to look forward to. And no, we're not talking about Peter Jackson's The Hobbit movie.

Royal Selangor has launched a brand new range of tableware, modelled on characters from the Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Hobbit’. It’s intricately sculpted pieces are quite a visual treat.

The Hobbit Commemorative Plate

The collection comprises of a selection of goblets, commemorative plates and a chess set. Pieces that caught our eye are the Gimli Wine Goblet, Winged Beast, Smaug Shot Glass, Gandalf Tankard and Ent Goblet. JRR Tolkien’s fantasy world also finds representation in a part-copper, part-pewter chess set. It has a Strider as the King with Galadriel as his Queen on one side and Dark Lord Sauron and Shelob as his queen on the other.
