Amosu Couture's pink iPhone 5, the Vertu Ti, and Judith Leiber’s Ringaling Rotary Phone Minaudiere.
A little Valentine’s Day hangover has us tuning in to the world’s first Valentine special iPhone, all pretty in pink. Priced at $2,350, the Amosu Couture iPhone 5 can be customised to sport a name or initials on its rear. Lavishly packaged in a complimentary $300 worth calf leather case in pink, this iPhone 5 screams ‘you don’t need studded diamonds to be special’.
More current less V-day, Vertu launches a new luxury Android smart phone, complete with a titanium chassis, sapphire-crystal screen, 8-megapixel camera and an LED flash. The Vertu Ti is available in four alternates—Black Leather ($9,600), Pure Black ($11,500), Black Alligator ($12,800), and Titanium Red Gold Mixed Metals ($19,900).
Don’t expect to make any calls with our next find, but rest assured it’s ancient avatar will put any new-age phone to shame. We’re talking about Judith Leiber’s latest, the Ringaling Rotary Phone Minaudiere. Embellished with numerous Austrian crystals, this $5,695 arm candy comes with a removable 19″L chain strap.
Tamara Ecclestone's LA pad
A smart move by Gucci, Milan will now be the new address to a ‘men’s only’ store by the fashion brand, come June 2013. Located in the fashion capital’s Brera district, the store will house an extensive range by the label, and will also offer ‘made to measure’ services.
Giving a private tour of her own space was socialite Tamara Ecclestone. The glam diva is living it up in a nine bedroom, 12 bathroom abode in Bel Air, and is reportedly dishing out $900,000 as lease, for every six months she decides to house the 19,000 sq ft LA pad.
An addition to Piaget's Couture Précieuse collection
Louis Vuitton’s making news for a new take on their Voyage dans le Temps jewelry collection. Designed by Lorenz Bäumer, the collection dazzles in star-cut, flower-cut, marquise and princess-cut diamonds. Expected to be a smashing success, watch this space to see if the second edition has as many takers as the first did.
Also dabbling in a few hundred brilliant-cut diamonds a timepiece is luxury watchmaker Piaget. Touted to be fit for a princess, the brand has made a number of additions to their ‘Couture Précieuse’ collection, extending the range to include rose gold pieces as well. A flashy finish don’t you think?
