What We Like: The Chairman by Ulysse Nardin.

Why We Like It: When we spotted the 'Chairman' at the Indian Luxury Expo, it was hard to fathom its hefty Rs 9.45 lakh price tag. After a few questions and some close inspection, it was apparent that this was no ordinary phone, but a very exclusive technologically-advanced product that would have many takers. Limited to 1,846 pieces, this numbered edition sports a fingerprint reader for owner identification and has a normal battery that can be charged through a micro USB.

What's special is the well-crafted lacquered wood docking cabinet complete with hi-end integrated speakers, data backup to USB and a unique battery charging feature that allows you to recharge by simply winding your phone or even just shaking it up. A glamorous looking crown and rotor use kinetic energy to tap into supplementary power for the reserve battery.
