PHU Tanks the Conventional iPhone Charger

In the midst of all the ‘social consciousness’ fervor, we quite appreciate anyone who can put an eco spin on things, even if it comes at a hefty price.

Enter Singapore-based company PHU, which has collaborated with Four Corner Store to exclusively retail their quirky iPhone chargers made from scrap and repurposed material.

Shaped like warfare tanks, the chargers themselves are quite unique looking (we mean that in a good way!). These recycled hand-crafted gadgets come with a built-in charging cable, and can be customised to suit your specifications, down to the very last detail.

Officially known as the iPhone Charger Tank Series, the Data charger—available in yellow/black—is compatible with the iPhone 4 and 4s, while the M.A.C. charger—available in red/grey—is compatible with the iPhone 5.

Priced at $395, PHU and Four Corner Store have also offered to custom make iPod docks for their clients, should there be enough demand.
