Guess who’s the new face of Pepsi? R ‘n’ B singer Beyonce Knowles has been signed on as a brand ambassador for the soda giant’s extensive ad campaign, slotted to kick start in February 2013.
Following the footsteps of David Beckham and Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce’s sweet £30 million deal offers her a lot more than was fronted to Becks and Lopez.
The brand intends a grand introductory launch during half time at the Super Bowl. This will closely be followed by a series of ad campaigns (television + print) and also a limited edition range of cans in March, with Beyonce’s gorgeous face on them.
And wouldn’t you like to know how she spends her cool millions?
Well, for starters, the deal is going to refill a giant $5 million hole in her pocket, all courtesy to the 1,000 diamond encrusted Hublot Big Bang watch the singer presented her husband Jay Z.
Now if that doesn’t make it a happy birthday we don’t know what will?
Actually on second thought, this coming from the lady that bought her husband a $40 million luxury plane for Father’s Day… now we’re not so sure.
