Scheduled for a debut at the 4th installment of the Geneva Time Exhibition is Celsius X VI II’s technological masterpiece, the Optic GMT.
Limited to 28 pieces, this one-of-a-kind mobile phone compares to the likes of the Ulysse Nardin’s luxury hybrid phone, the Chairman, and boasts of the Swiss watchmaker’s patented Butterfly Winding System.
Going beyond technology they’ve perfected, Celsius X VI II’s Optic GMT also uses a new and unique Image Guilding System that employs mechanical and optical components to display the date and GMT.
A million optic fibres transmit pixels of light, enabling the system to conjure images from one side to the other, making this phone truly a formidable player in the hybrid mobile phone market.
Whether the Optic GMT will make waves like the Chairman is yet to be seen, however what we already do know is that the maker’s Celsius X VI II LeDIX Furtif tourbillion was indeed well-received, so much can be expected of their latest offering.
To get an eyeful of Celcius X VI II Optic GMT, follow the Geneva Time Exhibition scheduled from 20-24 January 2013, at Bâtiment des Forces Motrices (Place des Volontaires, Geneva Centre).
