Yayoi Kusama Goes Dotty for Louis Vuitton

When the Parisian fashion house brings in the artistic touch of the much celebrated Japanese artist and writer Yayoi Kusuma, one can only be sure of how splendid the collection will be. Labeled as Infinitely Kusuma, the collection will be immersed in polka dot patterns, the Japanese artist's signature style. From scarves and coats to wedges and bags, even quirky pajamas; the playful scheme and colours will uplift the spirit of every product. July 10, the whole range of products will be debuted. All art and fashion fans can brace up to treat their eyes!
How did she become a part of the collaboration?
Creative Director of Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs was greatly impressed with Kusama's impulse, energy and her passion for her work. He said that since the time he had joined LV, he always wanted art to be associated with the fashion house. Collaboration with artists gives their work a different pedestal, a new opening from where more people can learn about their work, especially when it is seen through the Louis Vuitton perspective.
